William Hold, Ph.D, CIC, CPCU, CLU

William T. Hold co-founded the Society of CIC in 1969 and is president of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. Dr. Hold has authored articles in numerous insurance-related academic and trade journals, written several books on a wide range of industry subjects, and has been on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin and the University of Texas at Austin. A native of Montreal, Canada, Dr. Hold completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University and received his master's degree and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
